Dukes of the Orient is one of the better Frontiers releases I've heard in a while. It is a return to the 'Silent Nation' era of the band ASIA, with John Payne and Guthrie Gowan combining once again. Added to the team are keyboard wizard Erik Norlander (Lana Lane), drummer Jay Schellen and guitarist Moni Scaria.

Line Up:
John Payne - Vocals, Bass, Guitars (Asia, GPS)
Erik Norlander - Keyboards (Last In Line, Lana Lane)

Moni Scaria - Guitars (WWIII, Joey Vera Band)
Jay Schellen - Drums (Hurricane, World Trade, Unruly Child, Asia, GPS, Circa, Yes)
Guthrie Govan - Guitars (Asia, GPS, solo)

Here's the lead-off video 'Strange Days'.

One of the best albums so far this year.
I've been waiting for this since I first saw the advert. I hope I'll get to listen to it soon!

The tracks I've heard have been superb.

Love Payne era Asia and GPS, so this is a must buy for me.

Samples up on itunes Japan and they sound great except for the bonus track which is an acoustic ballad so I'll be getting the the UK version.
Been spinning this all day since it arrived. one word - Excellent
