Alcatrazz - 1983 No Parole From Rock N Roll
Anyone remember Graham Bonnet? Yes say all MSG or Rainbow fans, albeit with a bit of disdain or enthusiasm depending on your tastes. After the 'grand exit' from MSG before the Reading Festival in 1982, Bonnet disappeared to a self induced exile to California. Well, he re-emerged, fronting a new lineup that's a virtual supergroup in it's own right, despite their indifferent backgrounds.

Alcatrazz - 1985 Disturbing The Peace
Alcatrazz rebounded from the loss of Yngwie J Malmsteen and promptly replaced him with another guitar wizard, Steve Vai, who had been playing with Frank Zappa's band. How Bonnet tempted him to join Alcatrazz is a mystery but he at least helped them record a startling hard rock album.

Alcatrazz - 1986 Dangerous Games
So, what's the verdict with 'Dangerous Games'? Well, it's more AOR that veers on the side of safety rather than anything daring.

Bonnet, Graham - 1981 Line Up
'Line-Up' is an amalgam of British hard rock fusing the likes of Bonnet's former band Rainbow with early 80's era Uriah Heep. It's pretty commercial fare, AOR in places even, and with some top rated musicians onboard, the album - was released in October 1981 to little fanfare and little interest though it does have its moments.
