What were the ‘slow dance’ songs that you remember?

No matter where you’re from, I’m guessing you had school dances. And eventually you might work up the nerve to ask someone you liked to dance to a slow song. What songs do you remember doing that to?

For me, the first time I asked a girl to dance was to an obvious choice… “keep on loving you” by REO.

Other early, nervous slow dance songs I remember: Foreigner “waiting for a girl like you”, April Wine’s “just between you and me” and OF COURSE journey’s “open arms”!

Which ones do you remember?
