Yep in Argent, especially as Rod Argent and Jim we’re cousins.

Didn't Rodford also play in Argent and Charlie too?

Jim Rodford, bass player, The Kinks, Phoenix (I think?), but I remember him with The Zombies, saw live a while back. RIP

In response to Cyrille Regis, BBC 2 repeat the Adrian Chiles documentary, Whites v Blacks, How Football Changed A Nation, unbelievable true story, worth watching

There is a three-part article coming up for E.L.O (Eldorado, A New World Record and Out Of The Blue). Look out for it soon.

Stoke fans have my commiserations.Under Lambert the Villa played some of the most boring, unimaginative football I`ve ever had the misfortune to witness.Relegation?,yes I`d say so.

Stoke City condemned 2 relegation. Who is the new manager? Paul Lambert.
englandashes January 15 2018 22:09:34
Agreed Reyno about Clyde Best, further back is the story of Walter Tull which is quite heartbreaking, links to Northampton and lived in Rushden.
englandashes January 15 2018 22:05:38
Big loss is Cyrille, only short time at Wolves, but I was at the Peterborough game where he scored the last minute winner, Cyrille and Laurie C, what a team.
reyno-roxx January 15 2018 22:05:37
I think many people forget guys like West Ham's Clyde Best whenever the subject of the impact of black footballers in the English game crops up. He was just as good as the West Brom trio years b4

Cyrille was part of the ground breaking so called 'three degrees' who did so much to break down racial barriers in Football back in the late 70's.R.I.P
gdazegod January 15 2018 18:50:55
R.I.P the great Cyrille Regis. West Brom legend, plus Coventry, Wolves and Villa too. Aged 59.

I think so too and not just AOR - what time scale would you adhere to in any case? When would latest AOR become antiquated and eligible for inclusion ...12 months?
jefflynnefan January 14 2018 19:15:24
I think the reviewers of this site should always review any current AOR that they feel is worthy or that is making noise in the AOR community. Debate is fun. You become obsolete if you don't.
