Spektra & Night Ranger where the only Frontiers stuff I grabbed in the new batch...Spektra is good old school melodic hard rock with a good singer...good guitarist and a solid production.

Peter Frampton - 1972 Wind Of Change

Frampton's debut has great songs like the title track, It's A Plain Shame, All I Want To Be (Is By Your Side) or the cover of the Stones' Jumping Jack Flash.

I found a nice, cheap original 1972 Argentine vinyl copy titled 'Viento De Cambio' (Spanish translation for Wind Of Change). Amazing how the sound comes out of the speakers biting, breathy, big and warm, the more you turn up the volume the better it sounds. Analog heaven.

Listening to a handful of albums on vinyl:

Exciter - 1985 Long Live The Loud
    Peter Frampton - 1986 Premonition
Various Artists - 1989 Make a Difference Foundation: Stairway To Heaven/Highway To Hell

Watching part 1 of the Kisstory documentary. It finally arrived to the local A&E channel here in Argentina. I'm pleasantly surprised with some honest reflections from Gene and Paul. I was expecting less in that regard.

Exciter - man that takes me back - sold my couple of albums years ago (their first 2) but just given them a quick listen on you tube - wish I'd kept them especially Heavy Metal Maniac - but then again I say that about a lot of stuff I got rid of in the past.

Platinum Overdose - 2021 Standing On The Edge Of The Night

@NickC I sold a couple dozen vinyl records around 2007/2008, among them Slayer, Stryper and Riot. Back then I didn't have a record player. In a way I regret selling them, these days I'm slowly buying vinyl records again; mostly used, cheap vintage copies in good condition, and I've reacquainted with the pleasure of listening to a turntable.

Aye - I sold my Slayer stuff too, had their albums up to South of Heaven but kind of went off them. Still have my Riot and a couple of Stryper
