Good reminder about The Elder turning 40 years old, Malcolm

Hope Kiss (Paul & Gene) would eventually change their minds on the album and come up with some kind of deluxe edition. There's plenty of demos circulating from long ago, plus maybe the tapes from ABC Fridays live on January 15, 1982.

Anyway, a good album. The disappointing sales and bad rap about it (mostly from P&G themselves) do not harm its quality at all in my book.

To fully enjoy The Elder it has to be played in its correct order, rather than the hackneyed running order that it originally came out with.

Lou Reed - Berlin. An album begging for a reappraisal.

    F. S. Orlonn - Ever Since Eve. I don't know anything about this album and don't even know how or when I acquired it. But very good Westcoast-ish stuff from Denmark, I believe.
